    Craig Breslow seeing this

Needs to rebrand as Leonardo Devers, like Michaelangelo Stanton did.

Sorry but I keep getting told that he’s a top 10 hitter in baseball, what’s going wrong?

But seriously I’m sure he’ll be fine but the underlying metrics are rough. He’s gonna need a big comeback to salvage the season.

Common Breslow W, guy can’t stop winning

There’s pretty much nothing to feel encouraged about. He’s also seeing more pitches in the zone than any season since his rookie year, and has a career-low contact percentage on them

The Giants offense is just absolutely dogwater so far unfortunately

It’s a damn shame because their fielding is legit as fuck

Didn’t he start last year 0-19 with 15 strikeouts and somehow managed to turn that month around? I feel like once begets into groove he goes nuts

Not a single category on his savant page that is anywhere near red. The closest it gets is light gray.

he came into spring training crazy out of shape, this was kinda predictable

I think someone on the Mets sneezed on him or something

The Giants willingly signed up for paying a guy who….

    1. Is owed $225 million+
    2. Has never been in great shape, and had been getting even more out of shape before the trade
    3. Will only get older
    4. Was feuding with his organization about a position switch

Posey made this bed. Now he can lie in it.

Has no one learned from Anthony rendon?

Teams should never pay for anyone past their first max deal

Devers has always been a guy you don’t want to be on the hook for long-term. He’s had issues against fastballs at times throughout his career and his bat speed has never been anything special

  14. FalseListen

He’s always a cold starter. If this continues into July it’s a problem

lol at peoooe shitting on anyone commending the Red Sox for getting out of that contract

Passing on keeping Devers and Bogaerts long term were unpopular decisions but were the right moves to make. Now if only they’d gotten more for Betts than Alex Verdugo….

His bat speed has declined for three straight years and is now below MLB average. His zone contact % was dangerously low the last couple years and is now the lowest in MLB. These are HUGE red flags given he’s at the age where decline risk starts to elevate and he has never taken good care of his body.
