Warren really reminds me of Michael King, especially his breakout in 2022. Just filthy stuff.

It’s wild because when I watch Warren deal the stuff looks great but all the expected metrics kind of show otherwise. I’m not complaining f the nerds for now.

His frisbee sweeper is just a ludicrous pitch, it can get around 2 feet of break – and he’s gotten better at controlling it. Last season he’d always have one that just kind of spun in the zone, but this season he’s far better at landing it at the corner and it dips out of the zone and becomes unhittable

Pretty sure the Cubs would trade 12 pitchers on the injured list for a guy like that.
Then we’d watch his arm explode during his first start.
