   So I would assume that bill dickey and yogi Berra plus Randy Johnson and Ichiro are the only examples of teams retiring the same number twice? Obviously I could google but meh

   Adds to the list of times a franchise has retired the same number twice. Not counting 42:

   Yankees have #8 retired for Yogi Berry and Bill Dickey

   Cubs have #31 retired for Fergy Jenkins and Greg Maddux

   Athletics have #34 retired for Rollie Fingers and Dave Stewart
