  1. Marlins announcers are usually the most asskissing homers in the majors so it really says something that even they’re not complaining about these calls.

Did they not have any challenges left? Why not just challenge it?

This doesn’t really bring the context of the Marlins already being pissed cause of a call prior to these. They ended up scoring a run off of Keller anyway but couldn’t get the game tying one.

The annoying thing is that the Marlins were out of challenges at this point. After Marsee and Stowers were confidently incorrect and showed up the umpires, the HP ump blew two strike calls to Xavier Edwards. Edwards should have walked on four pitches, but he ended up lining out on a 2-2 count.

I think the ump knew what he was doing after the tantrums by Stowers and Marsee, especially with the Marlins out of challenges at this point.

Those pitches literally touched the line of the strike zone. A check swing is a judgement call. Be a grown man and control your emotions.

So I might be wrong here, but wasn’t it said that the strike zone we see on TV is different than the one used by the ABS system?

If so, since the Marlins no longer had any challenges, is there a way that we can still how it registered on the system?

I’m just curious although, as I type this out, I could just see the umpire score card as well.

I’d be pissed if I had to wear those jerseys too
