I remember when Kevin Brown of the Orioles broadcast team was suspended for saying the Orioles used to struggle against Tampa but were now good against them, and John and Suzyn went on the air to shit-talk the Orioles for suspending him.
Their point was essentially that a broadcaster’s job is to tell the truth, and he wasn’t even insulting the Orioles, he was saying they had improved and were now good. And also that « we insult the team all the time when they play badly and we never got suspended »
