At minimum, you’re looking at 6-8 weeks. So maybe by July, he can be back.

EDIT: IT all depends, obviously, on what they find when they open up the elbow. hence the minimum. I

Tough break for Skubal. Gonna take him out for a while probably post ASB

  9. Damn this really sucks.

So many injuries to great pitchers this year already.

Rodon had this surgery last October or November and is making his season debut next week. Obviously the severity of what’s going on is tbd, but this at the very least going to be a several month thing.

Rodon had loose bodies taken out after last season where he made all of his starts, and he looks super sharp in his rehab stints.

Hopefully Skubal comes back healthy and gets his mega deal.

Didn’t Heyman just post saying this was nothing? Now he’s having surgery. Crazy. Hope for a speedy recovery.

Same injury as Rodon and he had surgery in October. He’s still not back, he’s possibly going to be ready by May though. That’s 8 months sorry Tigers fans
