Takumi Ohshiro replied, “Well… I think you’ll get faster if you help out your mom and dad,” which filled the stands with a warm, wholesome atmosphere. In fact, just moments earlier, his teammate Yuuji Akahoshi had told the children, “Please cheer for the Giants and help your parents at home.”

How can you not be romantic about baseball?
This is the kind of stuff the NPB does as a matter of course that the MLB can’t even conceive of.
So, we now know who didn’t help his parents as a kid.
The real answer being « hit homeruns » obviously.
Love that he has to answer these questions while holding a Giabbit.
