Arraez suddenly becoming an elite infielder this year is so funny to me.
Nice little play from the guy who started the season tagging the ground at 2nd and asking for a challenge. Did not see his defence coming.
Pretty amazing how good Arraez has been defensively. Nice to see him betting on himself and succeeding thus far.
Ron Washington is a fucking magician, how the hell is Arraez suddenly good at defense. I know that wasn’t a particularly spectacular play, but my god, he had no range before.

…it is legit hilarious that the only reason the Giants got Arraez was because they promised to give him the starting 2B role, because everyone else thought he was washed at that position, and he’s putting up Gold Glove-level performance there.

I get physically angry watching Max Muncy hit. This man just doesn’t chase. You can almost hear him sneering « that’s 0.16cm outside » as he takes a called strike 3 with the bases loaded down 4 runs in the bottom of the eighth and walks away without challenging when the team has both remaining. He’s suffocating. He’s Max Muncy.

I’ll be honest, I didn’t believe in Arraez defensively, watched him play a lot of games with the padres, but he’s making me and a lot of other fans look pretty stupid so far
