   3 letters vs 3 letters has happened a few times. Tied for the lowest ever. There arent any 2 letter last name pitchers in the bigs right now.

   Not the first time. Hyun-Jin Ryu faced Cliff Lee in 2013. And there are probably a good number of times that happened prior. But yeah I can’t think of any established starters ever with a two letter last name.
