So he will go to the Mets for a year and half, be terrible, and then continue to get paid by them as he plays great for another team. Seems like a win win for him. Doesn’t even have to move

I don’t like the Yankees, but I like Soto as a Yankee.

  3. Edge_of_yesterday

Run up the price and let the Mets have him.

Delusional boras will demand 1 billion and he will end up forced to sign a 1 year deal in Cleveland.

I don’t see Soto playing for the Mets.

I know he’ll go to the highest bidder but I can’t see him choosing the Mets over the Yankees. Why go to a team that makes the playoffs every three years and is always in rebuilding mode?

Apparently, Robinson Cano is his hero, and Cano told him that his biggest mistake was leaving the Yankees for the Mariners. I think that if the Yankees are close on the money, that he stays. He seems to like it, and he is a much bigger star with the Yankees than he would be anywhere else.

Rosenthal’s not perfect, but I’ll take him over Jon Heyman any day and double on Sunday. Boras’ talk about Soto being open to in-season talks is nothing more than another negotiating ploy.

The Mets arent a $700 million player away from being good

Couldn’t happen to a better group of people/franchises. Love it.

I think he’s going to stay with the Yankees no matter what Steve offers.

Mets? No way. Spent all that money last year on aging players only to dump them by the deadline. Now you want to throw even more money?

    If you’re Soto…why?

Let the bidding war happen. Even if the Yankees are the end game, it’d be stupid to sign now

Soto will get 565/11 from the Yankees. He’s too arrogant to go anywhere else, he’s come to town and basically stolen the team and fans from judge, they were chanting mvp while Soto was batting and Judge was on deck, you know that shits in judges head.
