   This has been needed for a while. We can’t have 1 of 5 starters throwing games. Having him in as MRP should be good, as he’ll only be pitching 2-3 innings, rather than giving up 8 runs in his 4th inning pitching as a SP

   My guess is they’ll keep him around in a limited role for 5 weeks to get him to 10 years service time and then part ways
