   It’s technically not « betting, » but it’s in the same neighborhood.

   Also at ESPN, Dan Wetzel [wrote yesterday](https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/47890485/giannis-kalshi-deal-does-nba-no-favors) about the bad optics of Giannis taking an ownership stake in predictions market company Kalshi.

   It’s bad optics here, too, especially with two pitchers still suspended for « tossing » pitches for the prop bets market.
