Man, if I were the A’s, the last thing I’d want to do is a big grand opening event in the middle of the Vegas summer.
All star game in Vegas in 2027?
If a stadium is gonna go up fast somewhere, is the desert where you can work damn near year round.
They build Allegiant in a little less than 3 years, and that is almost certainly a bigger stadium than the A’s will be.
Bold of them to assume there will be a 2027 all-star break.

Only the John Fisher-owned A’s would skip the magic (and in some fan bases the once-in-a-lifetime event) of Opening Day with a brand new stadium to possibly open it mid-season. FJF
That organization is so terrible they couldn’t open a garage door let alone a new stadium.
