Love seeing the Aussies do well at a sport not alot of people care about from Aus. Did so well but Japan is en elite country at Baseball. We’ll get em back at the next year rugby world cup lol.

Proud of them, they played really well. We aussies not only love playing all kinds of sports, we also follow and watch a lot of sports. I played baseball in high school and only started watching MLB seriously few years ago because of Shohei.
Did not expect our baseball team to be this good. I read our Baseball League is in a rough spot at the moment. I hope the boys make it through to the next round maybe this will help boost baseball in Australia.
People used to joke about the Australia team being full of players that were mechanics, firefighters, etc like the Czech team now. Now they have really built up the sport in their country and are looking good.
