Kudos to the fans in attendance giving him his flowers too. Incredible moment

I wonder how far he could have gone without the pitch count restrictions.

I loved how the Japanese dugout and stadium gave him a standing ovation.

For an electrician, he sure throws good.

You could say his performance was…

    Electric?

He rules and it’s absolutely an inspirational story, but he did not, in fact, rewrite history or make a difference in the outcome of the tournament. He pitched very well and then his relievers got shelled and Japan won exactly like everybody expected.

Dude should get an MLB camp tryout

Where can I buy his jersey?

What history did he rewrite? I don’t get it. All the respect for an absolute legend – no need for unnecessary emellishment.

  9. Seriously we should always have history to be told as truth. Under truly corrupt regimes history and narratives are corrupt. People lie about what really happened. In truth though I became baptized as a Catholic and they emphatized that we arent our sins, our sins do not define us. Does that change history? Or do we just accept the good and not focus on the bad? Something things in history we cant forget. But for individuals redeeming themselves, i believe they do not need to be defined by their sins. Redemption or not.
