   It’s honestly amazing that it somehow took decades, no a century really, for the baseball industry (the mlb, teams, and players alike) to buy in on the idea that the people love international sports.

   If GB vs. USA put up those numbers, I have to imagine Mexico vs. USA absolutely blew that away

   Hell yeah. I assume these are strictly US numbers for viewership? Do we have data from Great Britain or Brazil yet to see if viewership is up in those places too?

   Per Sports Media Watch, [here is the Top 10](https://www.sportsmediawatch.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/WBCTOPTEN.png) most watched WBC games ever in the United States.

   As we all know, viewership is much higher outside of the USA.

   By the end of the tournament, I anticipate 2026 dominating this list. The US-Mexico game last night might have eclipsed 2023’s US-Japan final on FS1.
