At the risk of being reasonable, my take is that Randy was legitimately bothered, and Cal didn’t mean any offense. Cal should probably lighten up and have a little more fun, and Randy should probably respect that Cal didn’t feel like fraternizing in the moment. Neither was wrong, and both are wrong.
You see the players from other teams having fun, shaking hands, hugging and still being competitive. What a shitty excuse this guy is making.

I just don’t get it. I’m Mexican-American and I was rooting for both teams but Cal and the rest of USA is making hard to even root for them. You see DR, Venezuela, and Puerto Rico all having fun expressing culture but this team is taking 90’s Yankees route of just being boringly smug about everything. It’s the WBC where there’s a little more interest in baseball than just North America. People want to say grow the sport but defend acting like a prick with stuff like this and giving garbage PR answers like this.
