Ryu changed the Blue Jays forever. We were not even a consideration in free agents’ minds until he signed with us. He started the run that we are on, and I will always love him for it.
Side note: is this an AI photo…? Why does he have 2 gloves, and why do they each have totally different jerseys that both say Korea?
Unc gave it his all. Korea needs to invest in some pitching development.

Man, what a career. Ryu was that rare pitcher who could dominate in the majors AND represent his country at the highest level. Korea’s losing a huge piece of their rotation.
