
(Langs) Nous venons de recevoir les premiers circuits de Ronald Acuña Jr. et Shohei Ohtani, dont chacun a remporté le titre de MVP. Aucun match dans l’histoire de la MLB n’a présenté de premiers circuits de deux joueurs qui avaient déjà remporté le titre de MVP au cours de leur carrière.

It’s a bit more common nowadays but an MVP caliber hitter that had home run power wasn’t hitting leadoff ever. Rickey wasn’t much of a HR hitter (though he did have his seasons), neither was Ichiro
So, it makes a lot of sense that it never happened in MLB.
Stats are getting so funny now, like I doubt this would be a stat without including the MVP part. Just waiting for stats to include weather, crowd size, shoe size, shoe colors, what Ja is thinking… etc
Close but Judge and Ohtani HR in the 1st inning in regular season game. Judge was 2nd in the line up.
