How do Yankees fans feel about his interviews with Jomboy? The clips I always see are them getting pretty aggressive with each other. It’s also just odd to me considering no other manager does something like this that I know of.

I’m critical of many parts of the Jomboy Media enterprise, but they do a good job pushing him/questioning his decision making and Boone does a decent job not giving nothing-burger answers. It’s a pretty unique dynamic in the MLB media landscape so this is cool to hear.

Even as a non Yankees fan I really do enjoy their talks with Boone. It’s rare when you can get conversations with a big league manager that frequently.
