He’s the best announcer in baseball and should announce playoff games.
I feel like if the Jays broadcast team have finally been able to call playoff games, the same should be for every team. They can still have nation wide broadcast, as well as the local broadcast team, or is that too many logistics to manage?
SNY just does a good job broadcasting games in general. They’re out there doing split shots, fades, and closeups during regular season games and we all just watched Fox constantly fuck up camera shots during the WBC
Having the most important games of the year get called by the worst announcers that know nothing about your team is so so annoying.

I don’t understand why baseball hasn’t tapped him to call playoff games, period. He’s a top tier announcer and certainly better than some of the generic announcers Fox and TBS have calling some of the early-round playoffs.

The home team broadcasters should be doing the playoff games for national audiences.
I can’t tell if this is because local markets can’t broadcast their own playoff games or because the Mets don’t go to the playoffs
if the blue jays has cna have Sportsnet call there playoff games now let the Mets do it to!
It is utter horseshit that Dodgers fans just get their normal announcer through nearly all of the playoffs.
