   What possible justification would they have to place him on the restricted list rather than the 60-day IL? I have to think MLBPA will fight the attempt to deprive him of his salary.

   If I’m the Padres, I’m looking for a trade partner. Last season was rough, but with his success as recently as 2 years ago and his massive appeal in the Japanese market, I could see the Padres getting a top 100 prospect from an organization that needs pitching

   Man, I hate this. Yu was such a cool Cub, and he seems like a consummate professional.
