First ever ABS challenge in a season and we missed with an interview that added nothing of value

prove it
IllusiveM0nk
Great not like the history we would’ve wanted was the face of someone we don’t give a shit about. All cool.
Substantial-Earth975
Fuck Netflix
jerkstore27
Thanks Netflix, I love missing history
albertpujolsfan
Why does baseball even do in-game interviews? All the other sports do them in between quarters or something like that
Key-Tip-7521
HISTORIC
someone2795
This broadcast is genuinely a fucking mess.
HowWeGonnaGetEm
This broadcast is sooooooo bad, but not nearly as bad as this strike zone is.
Welcome back, baseball fans.
tallicafu1
The high school A/V club could do a better broadcast. Just horrendous on every level.

First ABS challenge in MLB history
Netflix:

It’s clear that the last thing Netflix wants to show on this broadcast is the baseball part.
whitemonochrome
Why do the announcers have to be polite and not interrupt an interviewer? Cut their mic and show the historic thing that is happening. Every video package, mid-game interview, or whatever else should have the equivalent of a sneeze button, where they just end it and jump into a broadcast moment.

How can a scorebug be so big and small at the same time
Kobi1212
This is one of the worst sports broadcasts I’ve ever seen
mountsleepyhead
Objectively annoying. Just show the goddamn game! But also “Bill Miller staying perfect” overlaid with him blowing an obvious ball is pure cinema.
bp9801
« staying perfect » right when strike 2 is called on the next pitch sure is something lol
Charm_City_Jangles
Miller called the next pitch a strike out of spite. 😂😂😂
IMissM0dernBaseball
Actual historical moment in the game and it wasn’t even shown lol
alas_vanity
Should’ve challenged the next one
Fun-Raise-3120
This production sucks
Btw the ump immediately called the next ball a strike…
Arpikarhu
Every fucking inning an on field interview or bit instead of actually showing the fucking game!!
soxacub
Why cant they just show the game? Matt sounded so excited before hand about how the 1st one was going to be history and THEY BLEW IT
4_base
Director is as dumb as bricks for this
Hope it’s not an experienced sports broadcast director cause that was a total rookie mistake lol
Somecommentator8008
And no one watching on tv saw it
--Shake--
Followed up by the worst strike call lmao
NYdude777
Can we stop on field interviews during the game please. It adds nothing and actively takes away the immersion of the game.
Kuchar1992
What the fuck are we doing? Interviews in the middle of the game?
SaulTBolls
Everyone upset about not seeing a digital scoreboard popping up some « bowling strike » animation that says « confirmed » makes me laugh.

And they didn’t even fucking show it, infuriating
