Winners: Yankees, and everyone because baseball is back

Losers: Giants, and everyone who had to sit through the Netflix broadcast

  2. desertdingo21

thank god we signed arson judge, this aaron judge guy stunk today

  3. randy_palomino

I got nothing to say other than that MLB should be fucking embarrassed that they let opening day look like that on TV.

We finally got out of ESPN broadcasting baseball, but we end up with Netflix.

  5. bigtice

*Logan Webb gives up 6 runs over 5 innings on 9 hits.*

« *Who cares, Judge struck out 4 times and didn’t get a hit. And we weren’t as bad as that Netflix broadcast.* » – Giants

  6. Bitter-Egg6293

Is it the first game of a long season? Yes.

Are the giants frauds and everyone ranked them too high before the season? Also yes.

  7. SGT_Apone

See you at the next opening day game in ’28! 🙃

  8. HunterMysterious8324

Well the good news for the Giants is that Aaron Judge was an easy out all night. The bad news was everything else.

  9. Secret-Sample1683

Fuck Netflix. That was unwatchable. I’ll have to find alternatives online than go through that train wreck again.

  10. The Yankees win but man, let’s be real. Everyone lost having to watch that car crash of a broadcast

  11. california-whiskey

    things that are factually true:

-Logan Webb is the worst pitcher in the league

-Arson Judge is the worst hitter in the league

-Giants are the worst team in the league

baseball is fucking back lets go!

  12. Rude-Peach8554

Webb got absolutely shelled in that 2nd inning, dude gave up 5 runs and never recovered from it. Giants offense looked completely lost against Fried too – only managed 3 hits all game which is pretty rough for opening night

  13. IM_KYLE_AMA

Well that was shitty. The Giants were shitty. The broadcast was shitty. And Aaron Judge was shitty.

  14. They absolutely do not want those hot dogs

  15. Reasonable_Skill_129

aaron let arson bat for him tonight

  16. ProcessTruster

If the Yankees replace Aaron Judge with any kind of productive player, they’ll be looking really good.

  17. felis_scipio

They didn’t think they featured the rapist enough so here you go at the end, more rapist as they award the Netflix mvp jackets!

  18. someone2795

The only thing worse than the Giants today was the Netflix broadcast.

  19. texas2089

Jameis just out here completing side quests.

  20. BorisIHateReddit

At least there is still a chance for the first *successful* ABS challenge to be televised uninterrupted.

  21. western_motel

i had a great time let’s do that again

  22. iamjeseus

I’ve seen enough, the Yankees are going to the Super Bowl

  23. SolarTsunami

A backup quarterback was the only entertaining part of the night. We are so back.

  24. kirukiru

This broadcast was really emblematic of a new generation of broadcast talent just not being up to producing a quality show. Happening alot across multiple industries

  25. Padulsky21

Am I the only one still questioning if this game was actually real? It didn’t feel real. It felt like an exhibition game. 20 delayed start and a bizarre broadcast. That was a weird experience go Yanks

  26. mamba19997

its sorta more fun when the yankees are good and contending even if theyre not my team (but not winning it all). we need that cockiness. when they’re struggling their own fans are the harshest we dont even have to say anything. sometimes i find myself defending various players even like during the WBC some crazy comments were saying theyd trade judge for roman anthony wo hesitation lol i was like nah man
