Je ne pensais pas qu’un scorebug pourrait être pire que celui de Bally Sports. Netflix vient peut-être de me prouver le contraire.

It’s better than the scorebug I used to get on my AM only radio.

Just outta curiosity can I ask what everyone hated about it?

  3. myevil5cheme

For as big as the bug was, it was was hard to read somehow.

  4. benjowtm

I thought it looked pretty clean once I got to grips with it

  5. ss_lmtd

I hate score bugs that only put the team logo over actual text. It’s always cropped so it takes that tiny bit extra time longer to recognize.

Crying for the sake of it. Scorebug was one of the better modern ones.

Everyone hates new things, I like this

What is your actual complaint? Just posting to gain likes?

If hindsight was 20/20, they could’ve just erased the entire SF side of it for something else. Like an advertisement for Netflix!

This is far better than Bally Sports and not even all that bad you guys are just all jumping on the anti-Netflix bandwagon at once because you’re emotionally worked up. Calm the fuck down.

That scorebug isn’t bad, it just needs slight tweaks to the font size. They probably designed it with big screens in mind not thinking 99% of people probably watch on smaller laptop or phone screens nowadays

Except the pitch count (too small to read), it’s fine.

You don’t have to crucify everything just because you hate Netflix.

I could read the scorebug, but agree that it is poorly designed. A square that is divided too many times to be read at glance. The team logos should be simpler too.

The point of a scorebug is that you should not notice it. If people are talking about it at all you’ve already failed.

The netflix scorebug was made to catch your eye. Their purpose was not to give you relevant information about the on field events, but to make damn sure you knew that Netflix was broadcasting this game. In case you somehow forgot.

As much as I hate apple, I think their broadcast is the cleanest. Might be an unpopular opinion, but I love how they do the scorebug and graphics.

« No no no! You don’t understand. Each line is set at the perfect 137.5 degrees to make it as beautiful and aesthetically pleasing as possible! »

« What if people want to read the info on it? »

    « There’s info on it? »

As someone who works with Claude AI… Theres a good chance this was made with AI. To my eyes it stands out right away as interfaced AI.

I’m so glad I’m not the only one who hates it.
Baseball scorebugs peaked with the late 10s early 20s flat designs. Enough color and character to be unique, but very clearly legible and unintrusive.

I loathe this and the one Fox has had for the past few years

  17. Real-Repair-1825

Peoples obsession with score bug designs is wild. It’s the same for football.

    Does it really matter?

  18. Call555JackChop

    Wait who’s up to bat?
