The scouting report on McG raved about his control of the zone, and we’ve seen it in the first two games. Great eye, great bat to ball skills.
I’d be shocked if he isn’t hitting leadoff within a few weeks, he is quick down the line and walks a lot which is a combo no-one else on the Tigers has.
“McGonigle” sounds like a cop in a 80’s procedural.
