His brother Andrew was on the 2014 team and won a ring with us, love seeing this all come together. He’s one of those guys losing his shit.

Met him at my work last year and figured he was a baseball player (we get a ton of athletes and it was during Spring training). Thought he was gunna be a pitcher or outfielder and couldn’t believe he plays catcher at 6’5”.
He was super cool so I’m rooting for him!
I always love seeing the families go nuts when someone gets their first big league hit or home run. Must be an amazingly proud feeling for them.

I was surprised when the Athletics left him unprotected. I think there was some concern about his catching prowess. The front office could have jettisoned any number of mediocre pitchers the Athletics love to collect ahead of Susac. I hope he does well.
