    … wtf

  4. Solace143

Huh? Mayer is 3 years younger than Tatis Jr and was 17 when Tatis made his MLB debut. I feel like that phrase refers to childhood, not when you’re almost an adult

Growing up? Tatis Jr only debuted like a few years ago? RiGHT?

It’s so weird for young players to talk abt tatis in reference to watching him when they grew up. HE’S 27! 😭

I don’t know what he’s referencing and the link does not mention this at all, but I figure it was an almost amazing catch?

Shouldn’t he be even more amazed? Players salute great catches all the time from the opposing team.

Tatis is like 5 minutes older than he is.

  9. Jonjon428

Whoa whoa whoa whoa you *did not* grow up watching him…..right?

Wdym growing up Tatis only debuted

    *fuck*

For all of you who feel old because of this, “growing up” means late high school for him. He was already like 17 when Tatis debuted. You’re (probably) not as old as this makes you feel.

You can’t be saying this about players you watched when you were 15. You’re one year removed from a driver’s license. That’s strictly for players you watched when you were 10 or younger

I was 17 in 2013 and 2014 (the same age he was when Tatis debuted)

Jeff Bagwell and Craig Biggio were my favorite players “growing up”

Not Jose Altuve….. because I was a teenager lol. That’s a bizarre choice of words for him

Growing up? You were 16 when he debuted.

    I mean he’s still growing up 🤣
