I never knew you could have negative FIP. Mason Miller is incredible.

I hope Miller makes a real run at the Cy Young but unfortunately I don’t see him beating out Randy Vasquez

If Mason Miller keeps up this form he might not give up a run all season. No joke. It looks like he’s literally a league above them. Like HS vs. college.

Unfortunately, since it’s baseball, he’ll probably leave a 0-0 fastball a little too low and Brady House or someone will luck into a HR.

  4. Remember when everyone was clowning the Pads for trading a teenager for “just a reliever”

  5. Y’all are (understandably) gonna glaze Miller for this but wtf is going on in Philadelphia?

    3 pitchers on this list

Watching him pitch the 9th last night put me in a trance. Like, « Holy shit is he just gonna throw an Immaculate Inning??? » Almost did. I don’t know how anyone can even touch that slider. I’m a rube and even I can tell that thing has supernatural powers.

Mason Miller had 7 whiffs on 10 pitches yesterday, just disgusting work from him lately

  8. I read MLB FLIP at first and thought it was ranking bat flips. I am disappointed.

From the day Elias found him in the waiver dumpster I wanted Wolfram to be good purely because of his name.

I didn’t even know it could be negative… I took an entire semester of baseball statistics in grad school and I feel like I was failed…

  11. Sanchez finishing third in Cy voting on his new team was not on my bingo card

Not hating, but I always preferred FIP- to raw FIP. +/- stats really make some of these advanced stats more palpable.
