his FIP is negative and it’s going down
That was quick.
I would simply hit the 103 mph fastball.
Ya man I think he was worth it
Why don’t they just hit the ball? Are they stupid?

what the fuck is this lmao
He could legitimately have like a 0.50 ERA season
Man I wonder what the season he would need to have for Cy Young talks
5th time he struck out the side on less than 14 pitches?
Mason Miller has also:
-Struck out 14 of the 15 last batters he’s faced
-Has not given up a run since 8/5/2025 (including postseason)
Please never move him off being a closer. This is just fine the way it is.
It’s just guessing pretty much.
But what’s his percentage from beyond the arc?
Purely on a stuff level, this guy makes Mariano Rivera look like a AAA pitcher lol
Insane shit and so fun to watch. Hope he keeps it up for a long long time
Mason Miller’s strikeout pitches tonight:
88.8 MPH slider
102.8 MPH fastball
102.8 MPH fastball

His K/9 is 23.3
He is striking out more than 2 batters an inning lol
He’s actually getting a decent amount of attention to his season to create any buzz come award season. Obviously still early but with relievers and Cy Young cases, it seems like it’s around August that people start to notice when a reliever is having an outstanding season.
ive seen enough, give him a 200 pitch-count and let him go for the single-game 20 strikeout record
That pitch to Doyle is insane
Jfc
I didn’t watch much of Mariano Rivera but this must be what it was like.
the man ain’t called the reaper for nothin

When Mason Miller enters the game:

All his highlights make me think is we should’ve won the WBC
he’s gonna win the Cy
I am calling for an investigation into the difficulty settings for Ohtani, Judge, and Miller. They have to have it on Rookie.
I thought they were planning on turning him into a starter. At least that was the talk after they acquired him. Did they just decide not to mess with maybe the best closer of his generation?
Say it Donnie!
When does a closer win the CY
Extend him forever
He has pitched in three straight games. Poor guy
