Of course. Why can’t we be normal?
Mariner
The Seattle Mariners care about parity in baseball.
Nine hits, nine runs in the most normal way imaginable.
A physically painful 2-4 but we made it through with the power of the wild pitch (and Randy.)
How rare is this?
Well, so what?
The events earlier today might have just lit a fire under our offense.
Those first four batters are burning up the league lol

Hockey players had better shooting percentages than these guys do batting averages.
If LA did this the post would have 4 quadrillion upvotes
This is what an elite offense looks like
Perfectly balanced etc etc
Almost had 1 hit from all nine players. But Randy got greedy and stole one of Cal’s hits. Payback for not shaking hands at the WBC.
Perfectly balanced
[This](https://www.sports-reference.com/stathead/tiny/eeGWG) is a list of the most players scoring *exactly* one run in a game. I also ran a list for *at least* 1 run and got many more results…for the record, the most players to score in a game was 15.
For the last time a team fielded exactly nine hitters with each of them getting exactly one run, we must go to back to [8/25/2016](https://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/TEX/TEX201608250.shtml) where the Rangers did it to the Indians.
There are also several occasions since then where the starting nine all got exactly one run, but at least one of them was subbed out later. The most recent occurrence of this was [4/4/2021](https://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/DET/DET202104040.shtml), Indians over Tigers.
They were also scored in order 1-3 4-5 6-9
Goddamn don’t look at that AVG column
