I half wonder if he knew it was a balk call and just chose to go out there and blow out to give the Jays a bit of fire to motivate them.
I feel so bad for the ump. He was really composed too, acknowledging that that touch wasn’t on purpose.
Wow. I thought his call was BS on the initial replay, but good for the Ump on calling that out!
0.060% of the time, he does it every time (the balk)
Umpires probably aren’t being paid enough to have to put up with this kind of asshole behavior.
Ultimate professional!
Whoa. I’m really glad that Jomboy showed the footage of Gausman’s feet during his different pitches. Having watched and rewatched the balk call I was certain that Gausman’s pitch was identical to his others.
Good on the ump for catching that.
🤣
Get this man on blood pressure medication asap he might not make it to October
Jesus, not a great look for Schneider here. Looks like a fucking bully. Might just be because the ump is so composed, but good lord. He’s not even arguing about the call, he’s just yelling at him like a fat drunk at a bar.
This is peak Jomboy for me. Lip reading, voices that match the faces, a fucking balk, and an actual twist ending with receipts. Love it.
It’s always funny to see someone so confidently wrong.
eagle eyes dan
It’s so funny to me that this is like the only situation in society where acting like this is socially acceptable, even if it gets you ejected.
Like it’s this, and being a drill sergeant. That’s it.
A dozen managers across the league do this stuff all the time including Boone but John Schneider is the Blue Jays coach so its not awesome and the ump is very patiently and sagely today
that’s impressive he caught that
