I’m OK with us losing this one.
I cannot imagine the pain, darkness that Alex and Kayla have felt. No parent should ever have to experience this. Good on him for going out and putting up a good fight. ♥️
Ok so THATS why we only saw 10 pitches that inning lmao
Thats a class act. Much love to the Healthcare staff, and Alex and Kayla.
Man, it’s absolutely heartbreaking, but I can’t help but smile at all the people who helped him still supporting him and jumping and clapping for him striking out the opposing batters.
A close loss, especially your gift to the world, is one of the heaviest tolls a person can take on. You never truly « heal » from them, you just learn to live your life without them. I wish Alex and Kayla the absolute best in their journey.
Hate the Dodgers but can’t hate this.
Healthcare workers help millions of people through their worst days and are underpaid, under-thanked, under appreciated and overworked. Not only do they do all of that but they do it with a smile.
I have endless respect for healthcare professionals as someone who does not have the stomach for it. Whatever you do in healthcare, drinks are on me if you let me.
I just… can’t imagine losing a daughter.
Mets players are class acts for swinging at every pitch no matter how far it was off the plate
for those keeping score at home, yes, that might have been me sharing a few sympathy tears just now. oof.
God damn I fucking love Baseball.
They were wildin out having a fun time. Good for them
Did not expect to be crying on a Wednesday morning but here we are. Bigger than baseball
