And they left him in. 107 pitches. Genuine practice

Sorry Parker I turned in at the end of the 8th this is my bad

I’m so sorry. I tuned into the Guards radio broadcast a minute before this happened. I’ll take the blame

  4. God damn it, first pitch of the inning too… Dude gave it his all tho

incredible bid by the rookie. if only that ball was another foot towards second base…

Literally the first thing I see when I turn this game on, mb

It’s literally been 45 years. Cleveland loves long droughts. Sigh

Great game by Messick. Leody has low-key been one of our best players this season.

Outsmarted themselves. Straight up defense there and it’s probably a routine out

Sorry guys. I turned on the game at the end of the 8th that’s on me

Was he shifted up the middle? Looked like a long way to go for the 2B

I’m watching the MLB Tonight and I have no idea why they’re acting like it’s not a real hit? It got through fairly quick lmao idk what they’re on

mlb posts that they’re 3 outs away and he loses it immediately. Like clockwork

If I had a nickel for every time the orioles broke up a no hitter in the 9th etc

  15. lovemesomefood

Genuinely surprised they had no one warming behind him and he stayed in for another batter after this. Dude was great but gassed.

I blame the MLB twitter account, and the ethereal essence of Ohio

There’s no easy way to lose a no-hitter past like the 7th inning, but I guess at least there were no outs yet? Idk I think I’d rather lose one at 8 even than 8.1 or 8.2.

Hard to predict no-hitters but with how good Messick has been this year I feel like he could climb this summit again someday.

My fault. Saw the alert and tuned in and then immediate hit. Sorry to all.

annual orioles no-hitter scare over 🎉 don’t do it again boys

  20. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that no-hitters are down ever since ESPN started sending out “NO-HITTER ALERT” push notifications
