John Schnieder IBB’d Ohtani dans WS G3 pour le fatiguer. (Roberts) « Avez-vous pensé à lui lancer le lendemain et vouliez-vous le taxer ? (Schneider) « J’espérais qu’il volerait tout. Je ne veux pas que tu te voies swinguer maintenant, et peut-être que nous pourrons te fatiguer demain. »


Dave Roberts dit que cela a fonctionné, qu’il était épuisé et que cela a saigné jusqu’au lendemain, et qu’il n’était pas vif lors de son départ.
