Ted Williams frozen head is spinning somewhere.

  3. ChicknCutletSandwich

I wonder if they made a deal with the Yankees to do the same for Boston at Yankee Stadium

    Who’s wearing a Red Sox-Yankees rivalry cap?

  5. TheElMonteStrangler

Let’s see if Boston fans are as hardcore as they like to believe.

  6. ThreeEyedPea

Nah, they’re totally trying to jinx them. Trust.

When I thought I couldn’t hate this team more

One of my favorite tidbits as a kid was Wrigley always selling a small selection of the visiting team’s hats. Always assumed it was part of the Friendly Confines aesthetic, curious if that was commonplace elsewhere.

I get when teams do the Ohtani stuff to capitalize on Japanese tourists but this shit is sacrilegious. Our team store would burn down if there were Red Sox gear in there

John Henry when the Yankees come to whoop on his dogwater-tier excuse for a ballclub

This looks like one of the shops across Jersey St. Does the team actually own those? I always assumed they were independent.

This seems to be a pretty normal thing for rivalry games. Why lose out on a whole fan bases money when you can sell them a hat for $55?

  13. Was trying to figure out what’s so weird about the Yankees selling this until I re-read the sentence

I went to a lot of Rays games as a kid, and I distinctly remember Sox and Yankee games having a large section of the team store dedicated to their shit lol.

    Bet they sold better tbh

Give them 1 more series I’m about to see some Lobel’s Steak Sandwiches at Fenway.

Those are pretty cool. How much were they?

What’s wrong with cashing in on Yankee fans

  18. ContinuumGuy

Listen I can maybe understand if this is like a rotating « road team » section, but… c’mon!

this is arte moreno-tier embarrassing 😂

Growing up in San Diego, I think it was pretty easy to buy any team’s cap and maybe some other gear at Jack Murphy Stadium; those days are long past at Petco Park. You might be able to get some other team’s gear there, but I haven’t really seen it. This situation seems crazy to me. I haven’t been to that many Padre/FTD games in San Diego recently, but I assume they don’t sell a lot of FTD gear suddenly inside the staduim. Maybe I’m wrong.

The only thing more shameful is that a drunken Sox fan hasn’t trashed this display yet
