I would just like to point out that that it genuinely seems like there’s some ridiculous Yordan highlight posted every other day in here and he has a 224 wrc+ over the first month of the season…and then you realize that Judge put up 220+ wrc+ OVER AN ENTIRE SEASON in 2024 like idk man. Everyone obviously knows Judge is crazy good, but it’s still mind boggling.

Ben Rice was a 12th round draft pick, just what an incredible development story.
And none of this is a fluke, this is who he is. He’s an absurdly elite hitter, all of his underlying numbers prove it.

Ben Rice is so good. I was begging the Yankees to start him in the 2024 playoffs based on his batted ball data/bad luck.
I’m am very glad he’s broken out in this way

Yordan Alvarez is gonna look good in a Pirate uniform

And Judge isn’t really firing on all cylinders yet

Its insane how much judge bonds from 22-25 desensitized me to his previous self. 165 used to be on the high end for him outside 17, and he feels like he’s slumping

Number four! Talk about number 4!

Yordan Alvarez is 94th percentile in hard hit percentage and 99th percentile in strikeout rate. So he’s hitting the ball as hard as anyone, and also striking out less than essentially everyone in the entire league.
That’s a recipe for success if I’ve ever seen one.
