Imagine being a grown man and stealing a ball from a kid.
Whats the random « Jose!!! » Just saying shes a big jram fan?
People who steal balls from kids at baseball games should be given a lifetime punishment of having to sit in obstructed view seats at any future game. That is my Presidential platform.
Still thinking about his giddy fucking grin typing on his phone contrasted to the girl literally on the verge of tears, dude should be so embarrassed
Bro swapped the ball and “gave it back” 4-5 innings later. Guarantee it.
Good. Shame this idiot.
I hope the girl will understand that the majority of ppl aren’t like that guy and will continue to attend sporting events. I’m surprised ppl even pull stuff like that in the first place but with social media and cameras everywhere you got to be a real special douchebag.
Much more fun to see happy smiling kids at baseball games.
Baseball is a child’s game, adults just ruin it.
Stealing the ball from this girl and wearing a Wahoo Pride shirt is one of the worst live baseball combinations I’ve seen from a fan
Best comment I’ve seen, “looks like a guy who refuses to call them the Guardians”.
Props to mom for calling out the Cleveland broadcast and huuuuuuuuge props to Tampa for capturing it.
I 100% would have caught assault and battery charges.
Shame it took him that long to return the ball. Should have done it with the camera still on.
Zack Hample move
Can anyone elaborate on this situation for those of us who haven’t seen it? YouTube link?
I’ve never been lucky enough to catch a game ball, but I would 100% still give the first one I get to a kid if they were trying to get it for themselves in the rush of fans.
If I catch it clean and there’s no rush, I’m keeping it though. Just the first one. Otherwise I’ll gift it to a nearby kid.
Is there a video clip of the incident ?
I just watched it and the ball hits the guy in the hands and bounces to his left. Girl runs for it. Hits her hand, bounces off. Guy arrives and gets to the ball before the girl can recover.
She didn’t have it in her hand or glove.
So if you’re new school and believe in the idea the ball is for anyone, it doesn’t seem like the guy technically did anything wrong.
If you’re old school and believe the ball always goes to the kid, then yeah, the guy should have given up or given it to her.
What did I miss?!
looks like the rays may have gained some new fans, cleveland should be fucking ashamed for attempting the cover-up
Just another L for the state of Ohio lmao
