I love how we have the most boring-sounding post titles imaginable. “Two adult men nodded at each other.” “A goose is standing on grass.” Can’t wait to see a highlight of an unassisted triple play with a title like “”Baseball player moves arms and legs.”
For fun context, the helmet bump was something Clayton and Shohei started when Clayton was still 1st base coach at the Dodgers in 2024. When Clayton became Marlins manager, Shohei continued the helmet bump, but with now-1st base coach Chris Woodward (and ex-Rangers manager). Last year, a clip of Clayton seeing Shohei doing the bump with Woodward went viral because Clayton looked sad after seeing Shohei doing it with someone else, lol.
The air helmet bump at the end really sealed it. Just kiss already, goddamn
