Are women allowed to play D1 baseball now or is this a Brown thing? Either way, this is awesome to see! I remember watching Jenny Finch striking out MLB all stars.

I really hope this is a precursor to more. This probably isn’t a popular opinion, but I truly believe that there are many women talented enough to play in pro, but there just isn’t a pipeline to get them there right now.
Obviously women can’t throw as hard as men, but I think it’s possible, however unlikely, that there could be a woman who masters the knuckleball and gets given a shot by an MLB franchise in the minors. The only plausible path in any major sport where you could get a female professional competing with men.
