    It’s early and things will probably regress to the mean eventually with Toronto, but I was told this years AL East was the greatest division ever assembled

    The Reds and Brewers are already a third of the way through their entire interleague schedule and are a combined 24-12.

    Meanwhile the Rays are 5-10 against the NL Central (who they’ve already finished their season against) and are 13-1 against the AL (5-1 against the Twins, 3-0 over Yankees, 3-0 over White Sox, 2-0 over Guardians).

    It was noticable a few years ago, but ever since the 2024 playoffs it’s become really apparent.

    With the exception of the Yankees and Rays, every single team in the American League would be in last place in the NL Central.

    someone said it’s in the rules for somebody to be sitting in first in the AL Central, so since nobody else was interested, the Tigers volunteered

    bs aside.. I’m so over interleague– 21 of our first 32 against NL. we’re doing okay at 10-9, but get it over with already, dayummm

    I liked it better when the A’s sucked. It was easier to make jokes about them playing in a AAA stadium when they played like a AAA team.
