Unfortunately Ben Rice seems to have transferred his generational bad luck from last season to Trent.
Trent is striking out less, walking more, hitting the ball harder, and has had NOTHING to show for it – all while playing much better defense.
Did not expect to see Cronenworth on here, but I’ll take it. That bodes well.

The Padres has 2 of the top 5 unluckiest hitters and they are 19-11…if those guys can figure it out it’ll be dangerous
Sadly, it kinda checks out. Moniak is the most gimmicky player ever (platoon guy with huge coors splits) and Goodman has a truly awful plate approach.
