I mean at this point i feel like the angels should do anything but that, they have literally nothing going for them, except mike trout, even when hes not playing good, its mike fucking trout.
I used to hate these articles but honestly would root for whoever gets him just to see my glorious king get the respect he deserves. I also don’t think he cares about winning enough to request one though. If he cared he’d have left years ago.

Trout is a fantastic player, but his injury history is going to be a big hurdle to try and get someone to take that contract on for a 34 year old

I would absolutely support the Phillies making this trade. Call me crazy. We already have a bunch of 30-somethings on big contracts, what’s one more. If he would ever accept a trade anywhere I’d imagine it would be his hometown team.
Trout wants to retire an angel. Tony Gwynn made the same choice for the padres. Not everything in life is about winning at sports.
It’s not like the other 29 teams are stupid. Theyre not unloading elite prospects for Trout based on a month of healthy production.
