Both players are making an absurd amount of money this season
Kyle Tucker signed his 4/$240M contract with the Dodgers.
Cody Bellinger signed 5/$162.5M contract with the Yankees
The latter’s contract is heavily frontloaded, with Bellinger making roughly $52m this season. Comparatively, Tucker is making around $55m this season with the Dodgers.
Both contracts have significant opt outs as well, with both having opt outs after the 2027 Season.
