Wonder how long it will take to start to be respected. Soon people will open their eyes to the fact that this team had a ton of talent on it the whole time. They’ve just been marinating with experience and getting reps.
If you had us at 70 wins or less entering the season, I severely question your baseball sense. Either that or you don’t pay any attention to the Cardinals. 78-80 wins was always the most realistic outcome.
They’ve been even better than I anticipated. But they are for real. There are holes, but there are SO many building blocks here now that are proving and establishing themselves.
