I’ve never seen the Yankees win an extra inning game on the road so.
Now I gotta hear “just make them play baseball LMAOOOOOO” for the next week like no other team has ever fucked up a ground ball.
This game got drunk in the 8th inning and im so happy it did.

After that clutch hit in the top of the 10th they gave the game away.
There’s a lot to be happy about with how Yankees have played so far this year, but still this team craps it’s pants regularly in tight games against good teams.

He was on the first base side too, much shorter throw. Going for the double play made more sense than that.
The pressure of extra innings (on the road!) always scrambles these guys’ brains.
3rd baseman wasn’t even covering the bag because why would he throw it there lol
If anything, MAYBE try going to 2nd for the double play but I don’t think it was hit hard enough for that. Throw it to first for the sure out.
