Unfortunately I don’t think Tarik Skubal is going to save the Tigers season, they need to get more than just him back. But getting him back will definitely help.
Gotta be mid-90s, I’d think. Insane stuff two weeks from surgery.
Im not a doctor and I don’t have any type of history that would put me in a position to question this new treatment method. And the Dodgers are using it on Snell it sounds like. So if there really is a new novel way to treat loose bodies this quick, awesome.
But man, I’d have a hard time signing off on it in May of my walk year if I were Skubal when the standard treatment would have had him ready before the end of the season anyway.
If you’re medically cleared to do so, let it eat Skubs. The mental block allowing yourself to go 100% is a tough hurdle to clear for athletes coming off injury, I’d imagine it being especially so for a pitcher
Uhhh how in hell is he throwing 100% only 15 days after surgery?
I too throw in the 90s two weeks after having surgery and I definitely don’t have a sore arm after carrying a moderately heavy item.
